The Parisian Nights Candle is a tribute to the vibrant Jazz Age of Paris, when music and culture were at their peak. Post World War I, the city was introduced to jazz music by US infantry bands, and it quickly became a sensation. France was a beacon of hope for many musicians who faced racial prejudice in the United States. As a result, many legendary artists like Josephine Baker, Duke Ellington, and Sidney Bechet migrated to the City of Light, bringing with them the Harlem nightclub culture to the Montmartre area. Parisian Nights captures the essence of this exciting time, with a smooth and sexy scent that echoes the melodic rhythms of jazz.

1. Only burn on level, heat resistant surfaces.
2. Keep lit candles away from drafts & other flammable materials.
3. Never leave a candle unattended; and always keep out of the reach of children and pets.
4. Lit candles are very hot so never touch the candle jar while the candle is lit.
5. Keep candle free of dust & foreign materials like matches & wick trimmings.
6. Our candles come pretrimmed for your first burn, light wick from one edge with a lighter or a match.
7. Burn for at least 2 hours on your first burn.
8. Do not burn continuously for more than 4 hours.
9. Trim your wick between each burn, by removing all the ash. This can be done by pinching the ash off, with wick trimmers or nail clippers.
10. If the height of the flame exceeds 1 1/2 inches or if candle starts to smoke blow out candle, let wax cool. then trim wick. be sure to remove all wick trimmings before relighting.
