The story of the Fleur de Lis dates back to ancient Egyptian times where it was the symbol of life and resurrection. The symbol also has a storied past of being used to brand slaves during slavery in America. However, it is famously associated as the symbol of the French. Its legacy took root in the medieval ages, as the French monarchy emblem of of kings. Its three petals have been said to represent the medieval social classes: those who worked, those who fought, and those who prayed.

Inspired by the emblem, our Fleur de Lis Candle releases fragrant notes of white lily and Lavender, interlaced with gentle undertones of the green foliage of Vetiver and Ylang Ylang. This candle with its complex scent, pays homage to a symbol that stands unwavering in the face of time.

1. Only burn on level, heat resistant surfaces.
2. Keep lit candles away from drafts & other flammable materials.
3. Never leave a candle unattended; and always keep out of the reach of children and pets.
4. Lit candles are very hot so never touch the candle jar while the candle is lit.
5. Keep candle free of dust & foreign materials like matches & wick trimmings.
6. Our candles come pretrimmed for your first burn, light wick from one edge with a lighter or a match.
7. Burn for at least 2 hours on your first burn.
8. Do not burn continuously for more than 4 hours.
9. Trim your wick between each burn, by removing all the ash. This can be done by pinching the ash off, with wick trimmers or nail clippers.
10. If the height of the flame exceeds 1 1/2 inches or if candle starts to smoke blow out candle, let wax cool. then trim wick. be sure to remove all wick trimmings before relighting.
